My Rules

Freedom has always been number one. It’s why I dropped out. It’s why I’m in Praxis. It’s why I want to live in a van. It’s everything.

Rules are usually restricting. This isn’t always the case. Applied correctly, rules create freedom. These are my rules.

  • Honesty
  • Don’t watch or read the news
  • Meditate every day
  • Remember the compliments; forget the insults
  • Cut out the people who don’t make me my best self; cherish the people who do
  • Go outside every day
  • Accept nothing as unequivocally true—question always
  • Don’t do things I hate
  • Write every day
  • Don’t be reckless with others’ hearts
  • Travel (a lot)
  • Intellectually stimulate every day
  • Immediately resolve to remove from my life any thing which I have a strong dislike of doing
  • Don’t drink sugar
  • Avoid any form of addiction
  • Never stop being a little bit of a rebel
