“I Am Praxis” Project
I was thinking about how the Praxis program’s advertisement of the incredible community could be built upon, and I knew the best way was to just show potential applicants the kind of community they’re missing out on.
Within five minutes of having the idea, I messaged several dozen Praxis participants to get their videos. The process of getting the necessary amount was like herding cats.
I learned valuable skills collecting things from large amounts of people and my days of managing journalists in high school seriously came in handy. I engaged in what I now call “Professional Pestering.” I had to strategically get many people to send me thirty-second clips without making them annoyed or unhappily pressured.
Overall, I’m happy with the outcome and I’m happy with the lessons learned and skills gained.
